That’s right – this is NOT a post about Coronavirus! Can you believe the last 24/25 posts were about (or referenced) the pandemic? Well, besides this intro, this one doesn’t. Instead, it’s just the hilarious story of comedian Amy Schumer accidentally naming her son Genital.

The comedian welcomed her first child with husband Chris Fisher on May 5 2019 and named him Gene Attell Fisher, the middle name chosen in honor of her close friend and fellow comic Dave Attell.

On podcast 3 Girls, 1 Keith, the 38-year-old Trainwreck star revealed this week that the couple have now changed Gene’s middle name.

‘Do you guys know that Gene, our baby’s name is officially changed? It’s now Gene David Fischer. It was Gene Attell Fischer, but we realized that we, by accident, named our son ‘Genital’.’ Amy explained.

Sure, this bit of news in no way affects any of our lives. But it’s pretty funny, non-Coronavirus-related fact that makes us laugh. Let’s all toast to the fact that this kid never had to go to school with that name… or maybe everyone will know anyway, because she shared this fact on a podcast, which is now going viral. WHOOPS.
