Meet Anthony Miranda, the idiot unfortunate mugger whose most recent victim turned the tables and made HIM a victim. According to Gawker, he planned to mug a 33-year-old man at a stoplight by asking for a light and then pulling a gun, demanding all his valuables. After taking his wallet and cash, Miranda then ordered the victim out of his car.

This is where there is little information, but we can pretty much guess what happened. The victim was apparently able to grab the gun away from Miranda, although at some point it discharged and shot Miranda in the ankle. The police report claims that the victim was “able to hold the robber off until police arrived,” but I’m pretty sure they meant “beat the ever living sh*t out of the mugger until he cried,” considering the way this dude’s face looks. Police claim that the “victim” was a trained mixed martial arts fighter who participates in UFC fights. I doubt Miranda would have targeted him had he known that. Woopsiedoodles.

Moral of the story: don’t mug people, because they might be warhammer fighting machines. Congratulations to Anthony Miranda for receiving the “Most Embarrassing Mugshot” award.
