Yesterday was the first Sunday of football (10 games in the morning, HOLY CRAP), and tonight marks the first of the season for OBC’s home team, the San Diego Chargers, and boy are we nervous desperately hoping it’s not an embarrassing disaster excited. However, it’s hard to concentrate on any of the actual playing of football when TMZ has dropped the full video of the Ray Rice elevator fight with with his fiancé from earlier this year.

Previously, people could really only speculate what happened before the video started, when you could see the Ravens running back dragging his unconscious fiancé from a Atlantic City hotel elevator. Did they get in a fist fight? Did she pass out drunk? Did she suffer from acute narcolepsy? Rice was suspended for only two games, leading the public to believe it maybe just “wasn’t that bad,” especially since Janay herself (who is now Rice’s WIFE), told the press she was “sorry for her role in the incident.” In retrospect, WHAT. THE. F*CK.

This video sure puts the very minimal punishment into a new light – specifically a blacklight that shows how NASTY the Roger Goodell and NFL are. Smoke some pot? YOU DONE FOR A YEAR, BRO. Beat the shit out of a woman? Weellllll, it’s just you’re so good and the Ravens REALLY NEED YOU, so… go sit in the corner for a few minutes.
