We’ve all heard that couples’ sex life tends to fizzle once they’ve tied the knot. Call it “settling down” or “losing the spark,” but it’s been fairly well documented that going from dating to legally bound has a tendency to make the bedroom, uh, LESS EXCITING. However, we’ve never heard anyone say getting engaged put a damper on the amount of sex in a relationship, until now. Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Shroeder recently shared on her podcast that she and fiance Beau Clark haven’t been getting freaky as much since he put a ring on it:

While the couple are very much loved up, she revealed on her podcast, Straight Up With Stassi, last week that she and Beau have been less intimate ever since their engagement.

‘We hook up a lot less because we’re so busy,’ she insisted.

And it isn’t just wedding planning that has been taking up the bulk of her energy.

‘We’re so busy working together because we’re doing the podcast tour and planning a wedding,’ Stassi explained. ‘And then in between still filming Vanderpump Rules and having shoots and things we need to do that I’m like, “Oh my God, I’m so sorry.”‘

Stassi said the lack of intimacy has been a ‘negative,’ however overall the engagement has added an ‘extra layer of safety’ to their relationship.

Moral of the story? Stick to casual dating at OBC if you wanna keep your bedroom steamy!
