Yep, it’s just as phenomenal as it sounds: take some batter, roll it into balls, douse them in some um “red” Kool-Aid (does that have a flavor? Isn’t it just called “red”?), and deep fry those mother-f***ers until crispy and delicious, and then enjoy, contemplating why you’d ever leave the fair when everything you need to survive is right there.<\/p>\n Deep fried Kool-Aid is just one of the many delights our San Diego fair has to offer… imagine a world of giant turkey legs, unbeatable carnival games,\u00a0 deep fried* Snickers bars, rides put together by 14 year old meth addicts, funnel cake, deep fried Oreos, ocean views,\u00a0 Nightmare<\/span> Fun Houses, fire-roasted corn on the cob, deep fried Coca Cola balls, a giant stable of horse poop,\u00a0 and Krispy Kreme burgers, YES THAT IS A THING.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n When we get older, we tend to forget the glorious, gluttonous fun that can be had at your local fair, so this summer, if your town has a fair, be sure to give it a whirl, and by whirl I mean ride in a Tilt-a-Whirl that will most likely hurl you to your death.
