The ad teams creating the commercials for Snuggie, the Sham Wow, and the Shake Weight probably aren&#8217;t oblivious, naive squares that believe they&#8217;re selling an incredible product&#8230; They&#8217;re probably genius execs who know that the American public responds to awkward fads and &#8220;ironic&#8221; products more than anything else, so they take a silly idea and run with it all the way to the bank.<\/p>\n<p>So this video from a segment by Jimmy Kimmel, satirizing the newest infomercial product (the unbelievably phallic &#8220;Free Flexor&#8221;) might actually be free advertising for them.
