This Tuesday, we only have one testiMOANial for you (there were others, but we thought this one deserved the spotlight).It comes from a 32 year old woman from Campbellsville, KY, who didn’t even really want to join the site. She finally did after some persistent suggestions from another member (whoever you are, we thank you, and so does she!), and after spending time on the site, she met someone and… you know what? I’ll let her tell the story!<\/p>\n
“I only re-joined because I wanted to tell you a\u00a0very interesting TRUE story… About 5 years\u00a0ago I began getting random emails from a guy to\u00a0join this site called OBC… When I first saw what\u00a0it was I just deleted the messages… Repeatedly\u00a0he kept sending me more and more invitations to\u00a0this site (BTW I don’t even know who the guy is\u00a0and I never met him!)… Beyond my better\u00a0judgement I reluctantly joined.. Not really\u00a0looking for anyone or anything in particular.<\/strong><\/p>\n Through the process I met some pretty interesting\u00a0men and some pretty perverted men too… I had to\u00a0start weeding out my friend requests… And made it very clear on my profile I was not interested\u00a0in a booty call, or a one night stand, or pictures\u00a0of your body parts… And that I was merely\u00a0looking for some one to have a decent chat with…\u00a0After being on for about a month a recieved an\u00a0invite from this guy… Of course I had to see\u00a0first what he was looking for… After looking over his profile I found him to seem okay and safe\u00a0to talk to… So I accepted his request… The\u00a0very next day I recieved a message from him… And we talked for a little bit and then I was kind of\u00a0giving him the cold shoulder… He eventually told\u00a0me I didn’t sound interested so he was going to\u00a0leave me alone… I don’t know why that bothered\u00a0me so much… But I wrote him back this long\u00a0lengthy message of how I had just gotten out of a\u00a0really bad relationship and that I had my guards\u00a0up and I was by no means trying to be rude and I\u00a0would like for us to continue to chat. <\/strong><\/p>\n We talked\u00a0every single day until his membership ran out\u00a0(about a month and a half)… We never met or\u00a0talked over the phone the entire time… Right\u00a0before his membership ended I sent him my physical\u00a0email address and we began corresponding back and forth that way for about another month or so… We\u00a0finally met after almost 3 months of emailing back\u00a0and forth and finally speaking over the phone…\u00a0We met on Mothers Day!! He met me half way at a\u00a0nice resturant, where he was fortunate to meet my\u00a0mother, my father and my daughter on our very\u00a0FRIST date!! I know… I know… Strange… but I\u00a0had to make sure he was genuine.<\/strong><\/p>\n When he drove\u00a0up I was waiting outside for him extremely\u00a0nervous… He glanced over at me and smiled… It\u00a0was over!! I was in love… He gave me 2 roses and\u00a0we went inside… After the date we hugged… Not\u00a0even a kiss… We parted ways and I could not get\u00a0this man out of my mind… Apparently he felt the\u00a0same… After another 3 months of dating and\u00a0driving back and forth to see each other… He\u00a0proposed to me… We moved in together and 6\u00a0months later (1 yr exactly of the first day we met\u00a0face to face) I married that man!! I am very Happy\u00a0to say that He and I have been married for 3 years\u00a0and we have a beautiful 2 year old daughter together… He is the best thing that ever\u00a0happened to me my daughter… He gave her the\u00a0father she never had, along with a little\u00a0sister…!! :) And he makes me and my family smile\u00a0everyday!! And as much as I did NOT want to join\u00a0your site (devine intervention was persistant)…\u00a0I am so glad that I did.<\/strong><\/p>\n Thank you for helping\u00a0me find the love of my life!! We both sit back and\u00a0laugh now at how we met… Because he nor I wanted\u00a0anyone to know… lol.. But Now I’ll just tell\u00a0anybody… :) I love that man!! Thank you again\u00a0OBC for bringing us together!!!
