As quickly as it started, it’s over, and now San Diego has exactly one year to sweep up the flyers, plunge the body paint out of the toilets, and try to purge THIS IMAGE<\/a> from our brains. Comic-Con, as always, was a raucous success in our lovely city, and despite the uncharacteristic humidity, it seems everyone had a great time. So… what were the hits and misses of the largest Comic Convention in the world? Let’s discuss, nerds. <\/p>\n

AWESOME:<\/b><\/p>\n

The movie trailers! Sweet, sweet movie trailers! I always enjoy getting a sneak peek at upcoming movies, despite the fact that there’s a 90% chance I’ll wait till I can Netflix them so I can watch them in my pajamas. Some of the top trailers:<\/p>\n

1. Oz, The Great and Powerful<\/b><\/p>\n

In preparation for this week’s release of The Dark Knight Rises<\/i>, this makes me all sorts of excited. Unfortunately it aired last night and I don’t have cable. Wah-wahhhh.<\/p>\n

3. Wreck-It Ralph<\/b>
\n<\/param><\/param><\/embed><\/param><\/object><\/p>\n

I’m always a sucker for a good animated kids movie, and this is no exception. This story of an 8-bit videogame villain who wants to clean up his act looks sweet and silly without being overly-saccharine. Extra points for John C. Reilly and Sarah Silverman, who we’re used to in more, erm, R-rated roles<\/a>.<\/p>\n

4. Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2<\/b><\/p>\n

The trailer for NBC’s new post-apocalyptic show, Revolution<\/i> premiered. J.J Abrams and Jon Favreau (who needs to go on a diet ASAP) looks awesome. <\/p>\n
