{"id":18935,"date":"2013-07-18T10:30:27","date_gmt":"2013-07-18T17:30:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.onlinebootycall.com\/blog\/?p=18935"},"modified":"2013-07-18T09:57:19","modified_gmt":"2013-07-18T16:57:19","slug":"std-toys-for-sale-at-comic-con","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.onlinebootycall.com\/blog\/std-toys-for-sale-at-comic-con\/","title":{"rendered":"STD Toys For Sale at Comic Con"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Comic Con is in full swing in San Diego, which means the streets are crawling with <strike>nerds<\/strike> fans wearing costumes worth more than my rent. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/life\/movies\/2013\/07\/16\/comic-con-2013-preview\/2519843\/\" target=_blank>125,000 people are expected to attend<\/a> the massive convention where stars and fans alike go to check out screenings of new movies, watch panels, and buy exclusive (re: expensive as all hell) gear from their favorite comic books, TV shows, and video games.<\/p>\n<p>This, however, is NOT what I was expecting: <\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/bcu2-shared.onlinebootycall.com.s3.amazonaws.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/STDtoys.jpg\"\/><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Yep, you saw right. At one booth in the con, you can purchase cute little plushy toys in the shape of diseases. FUN! A little search showed that the company behind the strange toys is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.giantmicrobes.com\/us\/main\/venereals\/\" target=_blank>GIANTmicrobes<\/a>, and they sell all sorts of diseases, venereal included. <\/p>\n<p>I guess if you have to pick up chlamydia, AIDS, and herpes at the same time, they might as well be cuddly?
