Some may have pre-set plans – maybe you’re going on\u00a0 weekend getaway or are meeting frineds on the town, but for those of us who aren’t sure what or WHO we’re gonna do this weekend, we have some tips to help your chances of getting laid. And let’s be honest, that’s not a bad goal to have, right?<\/p>\n

1. Hit the gym<\/b><\/p>\n

Yeah, it sounds terrible when happy hour is calling. However, taking an hour after work or school or the eight hours a day your spend on your mom’s couch will not only get your endorphins up<\/a>, but it’ll boost your confidence and make you feel sexier. And if you know you’re sexy, then THEY’LL know your sexy. Plus those skinny jeans aren’t gonna expand for you, I don’t care how much spandex is in them.<\/p>\n

2. Get off your phone!<\/b><\/p>\n

If you’ve been finding yourself mindlessly scrolling as a reflex these days, you’re not alone. This weekend, pledge to keep your phone away as much as possible. Yeah it’ll be tough not to check Instagram every twelve minutes but by paying attention to your environment, you’re more likely to spot a lonely single lady or gent who’d love some attention. BINGO!<\/p>\n

3. Take the road less traveled<\/b><\/p>\n

Whether that means trying out a new club or skipping the bars altogether for a day in nature or at a local art exhibit, changing up your routine can help you meet singles that might not frequent the same places you do. Your princess in lingerie or knight in shining birthday suit might be around the corner at the new coffee shop!<\/p>\n

4. Volunteer to be the sober driver<\/b><\/p>\n

While others are stumbling over their words, spilling on themselves, and loudly screaming about their desire for a burrito, you could be the one playing Rico Suave to that lady in the corner booth. You’ll look responsible and mature around a bunch of drunk babies, and that right there is sexy. Plus, staying sober later means you’ll be around all the cuties getting off late jobs. You never know who you might meet!<\/p>\n

5. Practice ESL – Eye contact, Smiling, Listening!<\/b><\/p>\n

Since you’re sober, feeling buff, and at a bar you’ve never been to – use the time you’re not on your phone to practice your listening skills. It’s all about ESL – Eye contact, smiling, and listening! People can tell when you’re just staring at them and not actually registering anything coming out of their mouths. So pay attention, be attentIVE, and acknowledge with a smile. You’d be surprised how often guys and girls are like “I thought we was cute until I realized he was literally staring off while we talked. No thanks.”<\/p>\n
