Post-release, Mimi says she is\u00a0\u201cgood\u201d and \u201call is well&#8221; and life is &#8220;wonderful,&#8221; leading us to believe that the tape may not have been stolen but might actually be a <a title=\"Red Band Trailer for Sex Tape is Here\" href=\"https:\/\/www.onlinebootycall.com\/blog\/red-band-trailer-for-sex-tape-is-here\/\">Farrah Abraham situation<\/a>, albeit this time without a porn star at the helm.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2014\/04\/17\/love-and-hip-hop-sex-tape-shower-rod-shortage-mimi-faust\/\" target=\"_blank\">TMZ,<\/a> though, there has been an interesting effect happening all over the country, and we have the Mimi\/Nikko sex tape to thank: hardware stores nationwide have been selling out of SHOWER CURTAIN RODS.<\/p>\n<p>Apparently, the video features a particularly gymnastic scene where Mimi grasps a shower curtain rod for balance, but most average peoples&#8217; flimsy tension rods wouldn&#8217;t be able to withstand the pressure &#8211; so they&#8217;ve been heading out to home improvement giant store Home Depot to upgrade. Via TMZ:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>We called employees at each of the major retailers (from Georgia to Cali) and we&#8217;re getting the same story &#8212; ever since the trailer for Mimi&#8217;s sex tape came out, people have been racing to purchase their own super-strong shower rods to recreate the Mimi experience.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>We gotta give a shout out to Mimi and Nikko for inspiring others to get out there and try some sexy new moves in the bedroom (or bathroom, though that sounds gross out of context).
