The thought of giving shit to someone for having a healthy casual sex life doesn&#8217;t make any sense to us! Usually, we see slut-shaming occur between women, because apparently some ladies are still stuck believing the old-fashioned idea that sex outside of a long-term relationship makes you less classy.<\/p>\n<p>However, today we thought we&#8217;d talk about the super unfortunate habit of GUYS slut-shaming women. We&#8217;ve been seeing a lot of men on social media talking about how &#8220;skanky&#8221; and &#8220;ratchet&#8221; and &#8220;loose&#8221; all the &#8220;hoes&#8221; are, while at the same time lamenting that they can&#8217;t get laid. See the problem there?<\/p>\n<p>According to a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newsucanuse.org\/wp-content\/bedroom.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">2011 study<\/a>, many women are totally down for casual sex, as long as the guy makes the experience pleasurable and she isn&#8217;t slut-shamed about it. Via <a href=\"http:\/\/ur.umich.edu\/1112\/Oct24_11\/2801-women-like-casual\" target=\"_blank\">UMich.Edu<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The stigma associated with engaging in casual sex for women also explains their reluctance to accept offers for casual sex; women are perceived more negatively than men for accepting casual sex.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGender differences are minimized when women feel that they can avoid being stigmatized for their behavior,\u201d says Conley, who collaborated with U-M graduate students Amy Moors, Jes Matsick, Ali Ziegler and Brandon Valentine.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Basically, until men \u00a0recognize that we all (including WOMEN) have sexual desires and that we shouldn&#8217;t shame OTHERS for theirs, we won&#8217;t reach our true booty call potential! Guys &#8211; stop calling girls sluts and whores &#8211; or you&#8217;ll never get laid.
