You know, sometimes we worry about the way some peeps in the US treat sex. We worry about stories like Vegas cops telling girls sex will kill them<\/a>, and states removing birth control from biology textbooks<\/a> (srsly). But then sometimes we hear great news<\/a> that makes us feel like maybe our great nation is starting to realize that sex isn’t something to be ashamed or scared of, but is an awesome, necessary, NORMAL thing that all people should be allowed to enjoy without being looked at as anything but human.<\/p>\n

Today’s report that top Ivy League school HARVARD is offering a class on anal sex,<\/a> is the kind of news we love. Via MTV:<\/p>\n

At 5:00 tonight, as part of\u00a0Harvard Sex Week<\/a>, the storied institution will host \u201cWhat What in the Butt: Anal Sex 101<\/a>,\u201d a workshop that promises to cover \u201canal anatomy and the potential for pleasure for all genders; how to talk about it with a partner; basic preparation and hygiene; lubes, anal toys, and safer sex; anal penetration for beginners, and much more!\u201d Students can expect to learn \u201cwhy people do it and how to do it well.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

First of all, YES to that title – which reminds of one of the greatest videos of all time<\/a>. And two – YES to everything else! We’re totally down with a college (especially one of this caliber) publicly declaring that it’s okay to experiment and be kinky and explore your sexuality, especially when there are people who claim even a peck on the lips to be going too far before marriage<\/a>.<\/p>\n

So, to the awesome promoters of Sex Week at Harvard, we give you props. You give those future leaders of our nation their anal education!<\/p>\n\n
