Welp, turns out they actually are chock full of the same medicine in the little blue pill &#8211; VIAGRA.<\/p>\n<p>Via <a href=\"http:\/\/www.buzzfeed.com\/azeenghorayshi\/natural-sex-supplements-are-actually-spiked-with-viagra#.hdo00XXKwj\" target=\"_blank\">BuzzFeed:<\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>In the past week alone, the Food and Drug Administration has uncovered 25 supplements tainted with the active ingredients found in prescription erectile dysfunction drugs, such as Viagra and Cialis.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re not talking about trace amounts of this stuff,\u201d Pieter Cohen, an assistant professor of medicine at the Cambridge Health Alliance who specializes in the supplement industry, told BuzzFeed News. \u201cFDA doesn\u2019t say how much they\u2019ve found, but whenever we\u2019ve taken a look at this, these dosages are really significant.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey can contain dosages twice as high as Viagra itself,\u201d Cohen added.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Pretty nuts, right? Although you might be like, &#8220;sweet! Cheap Viagra!&#8221; This isn&#8217;t good news, because many people opt for OTC supplements because they are afraid of the risks and side effects of Viagra. The solution? According to the article, it&#8217;s making Viagra a non-prescription drug.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cMake Viagra an over-the-counter medication,\u201d Cohen said. \u201cIf you were told what to watch out for, what not to combine it with, if you had Viagra on sale at all drugstores, things would be much safer. It\u2019s our moral and social resistance to that that\u2019s stopping it. That and, Pfizer wants to make more money.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>OTC Viagra for super fun sexy times whenever you feel like it?
