Happy Cinco de Mayo! We at the San Diego OBC offices have already gotten started with our celebrations (it’s called a breafkast margarita and if you haven’t had one you’re kidding yourself), so here’s something weird and creepy and gross to make you feel like you’re gonna yack up a bunch of sweet-and-sour. The toy, first\u00a0reported<\/a>\u00a0by\u00a0Dezeen<\/em>, is part of a larger memory box called \u201821 Grams\u2019 – named after the\u00a0supposed<\/a>\u00a0(and almost certainly inaccurate) weight of the human soul.<\/p>\n

The box is made from layers of wood, which are glued together and hand-sanded to create the final shape then coated with a pale grey matt [sic] finish. It opens using a gold-plated brass key that can be worn as a necklace, and incorporates an amplifier for playing music from an iPhone that slots into the base. It also contains a scent diffuser and a small gold-plated urn that holds up to 21 grams of ashes inside a blown-glass dildo.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Having someone close to you die is shocking and can be painful if you feel a connection to them – even if the only connection was a super awesome sex life. So maybe this is a nice (?) way to feel close to (?) the person who once gave you mind-blowing orgasms (?)….<\/p>\n
