However, we hadn&#8217;t ever thought about this particular method of fusing these two necessary facets of life: having sex while wearing your Apple AirPods.<\/p>\n<p>Via <a href=\"https:\/\/mashable.com\/article\/airpods-sex-study\/\">Mashable<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>This\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tickpick.com\/musics-influence-on-sexual-behaviors\/?cjevent=95359ebf8df211e9829600be0a240613\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;study&#8221; s<\/a>urveyed 1,010 people about a bunch of music and sex stuff, most of which is fairly boring. (Of\u00a0<em>course\u00a0<\/em>nearly one in four folk fans has cried during sex.)<\/p>\n<p>But one of its findings is outright disturbing: 17 percent of respondents who own AirPods said they&#8217;d left their AirPods in during sex. Were they playing audio while the sex was happening? We can&#8217;t be sure. But imagine having sex with someone while simultaneously understanding that they were wearing \u2014 and we can&#8217;t stress this enough \u2014 AirPods. AirPods are ugly,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/onezero.medium.com\/your-dirty-airpods-are-grosser-than-you-think-b28914c745bd\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gross<\/a>, and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vice.com\/en_us\/article\/neaz3d\/airpods-are-a-tragedy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ethically dubious<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 basically everything you don&#8217;t want to associate with a sexual partner!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Hey, we&#8217;re not as quick to judge as the people at Mashable. Maybe a couple wants to blast some Michael Bolton while getting down, but their roommates are studying, so they pop in the AirPods and hit PLAY at the same time. They get to enjoy their smooth jazz while going to town on each other and their roommate gets to cram for finals in peace.
