Although he&#8217;s mostly known for his crooning and also this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/articles\/news\/269279\/chris-brown-charged-with-assault-on-rihanna\">minor incident,<\/a> he&#8217;s also pretty well known for being great at B-ball when playing in celebrity games. On a recent podcast, however, Metta says Brown is totally good enough to play in the big leagues.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2019\/08\/05\/metta-world-peace-chris-brown-nba-rappers-basketball-game\/\">Via TMZ<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<section id=\"cb-35c2844ecc69e19d37980971e8447ed3\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-blogroll canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-blogroll \">Metta sat down with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/people\/van-lathan\/\"><strong>Van Lathan<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0on &#8216;The Red Pill Podcast,&#8217; and was asked how he feels about rappers and entertainers actually trying to play professional basketball.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-6713b08aa6902e0402083d3945f41e3e\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-blogroll canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-blogroll \">&#8220;I support that actually. I thought Chris Brown should&#8217;ve been in the league. Before, 10 years ago when I was playing with Chris? Yeah, definitely. He was better than a lot of people.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-024b3166c71dc124c02a67bf21e7869e\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-blogroll canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-blogroll \">This isn&#8217;t fake love. MWP, one of the best defensive players in the history of league, says CB&#8217;s game was LEGIT, and he saw upper-level, elite hoops talent in him.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-f3fb012aa7f9ccf932df22008b59c6c9\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-blogroll canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-blogroll \">&#8220;He was very smooth, he could penetrate, really good penetrator, really good at attacking the basket.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-a3517647bdd3ab741afb09df5a8d3ce7\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-blogroll canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-blogroll \">Brown&#8217;s hoops prowess is well known, he&#8217;s been getting it in on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2019\/06\/30\/ace-family-basketball-charity-event\/\"><strong>celebrity games<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0for years now, but this level of praise from this level of player we haven&#8217;t heard.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/blockquote>\n<section id=\"cb-024b3166c71dc124c02a67bf21e7869e\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-blogroll canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-blogroll \">Damn! Can you imagine if CB had gone into sports instead of music?
