She’s hilarious, he’s a genius – now this is a pair we can get behind. The star of Girl’s Trip recently confirmed that she’s dating the rapper turned actor and writer, and she has nothing but good things to say about the relationship (and ensures us the new duo is Covid-free. Via Billboard:<\/a><\/p>\n

Tiffany Haddish had already fessed up that she and rapper\u00a0Common<\/a>\u00a0have been quarantining together, but in a new interview she said they’ve both been tested and they’ve been… getting very close.<\/p>\n

“I am in a relationship,” she told Steve-O on the latest edition of his\u00a0Wild Ride<\/em>\u00a0podcast.<\/p>\n

Haddish, who made it clear, “I’m doing it with Common,” said the couple met when the rapper was cast as her love interest in her 2019 film\u00a0The Kitchen<\/em>, though they were just friends at first, getting together occasionally to play the card game spades.<\/p>\n

“Then he got tested for everything, I got tested for everything, and yeah, we\u2019ve been f–king,”<\/strong> she laughed. The comedian said Common is her first celeb boyfriend and so far it is “hands down the best relationship” she’s ever had.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019ve lost 20 pounds since I\u2019ve been in this relationship. I feel more confident in me and it\u2019s not him that\u2019s doing it,” she said. “I\u2019m just way happier and it\u2019s, like, knowing I got somebody that cares about me, that really has my back. It seems like he does anyways, and I love it. I love him.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

See – the world may be in a tailship, but at least we have a new couple to ‘ship. We’re here for it.<\/p>\n
