Seriously! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Marshawn&#39;s pregame superstition involved a shot of what?! ?<br \/><br \/>Peyton&#39;s Places Season 2 is officially here: <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/ZgRaYGb0JO\">https:\/\/t.co\/ZgRaYGb0JO<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/T1LSGH1Y5a\">pic.twitter.com\/T1LSGH1Y5a<\/a><\/p>&mdash; ESPN (@espn) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/espn\/status\/1333088328586059780?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 29, 2020<\/a><\/blockquote> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n\n\n\n<p>Via TMZ:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Beast Mode revealed his secret pre-game ritual during an interview with&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/people\/peyton-manning\/\"><strong>Peyton Manning<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;&#8230; playing off his pre-game drinking routine as no big deal.<\/p><p>&#8220;My superstition was that I needed to have maybe a shot \u2026 a shot and half &#8230; before every game,&#8221; Lynch said on ESPN&#8217;s &#8220;Peyton&#8217;s Places.&#8221;<\/p><p>Peyton asked Marshawn to clarify &#8212; saying, &#8220;[A shot] of &#8230; ???&#8221;<\/p><p>&#8220;Hennessy,&#8221; Lynch replied &#8230; &#8220;Whatchu mean &#8216;of?'&#8221;<\/p><p>Manning asked where Lynch where he would get the booze &#8212; maybe from a bar in the stadium during his run with the Seahawks?<\/p><p>&#8220;Nah, the bar&#8217;s in my backpack,&#8221; Lynch said.<\/p><p>The NFL has long banned alcohol from locker rooms &#8212; so, if Marshawn is telling the truth (and there&#8217;s no reason to suggest he&#8217;s lying), it seems the boozy ritual would violate the NFL&#8217;s policy.<\/p><p>But, as Marshawn also pointed out during the show, he got fined so much during his playing days, the NFL would send him a weekly invoice!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<!--themify_builder_content-->\n<div id=\"themify_builder_content-26032\" data-postid=\"26032\" class=\"themify_builder_content themify_builder_content-26032 themify_builder tf_clear\">\n    <\/div>\n<!--\/themify_builder_content-->\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Happy Monday and happy back to real life.
