One might say that that a first date is kind of like an interview. But what if, at this interview, your date brought an actual RESUME, stating what makes them a “great candidate for the role”? Would you laugh, or be like, what the actual F? Well, it’s actually happening: Via Yahoo: <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

During her most recent birthday party, Emily’s roommate decorated their apartment with photos of their favorite memories and, while staring at a picture of herself, Emily was hit with an idea: Why not use her personality pics as a sort of business card \u2014 or dating resume, if you will \u2014 to find a boyfriend?<\/p>


Inspired, Emily grabbed a sharpie and her favorite photos before hand-writing her hobbies, skills, simple pleasures, and other fun prompts on the back of each. Then, equipped with the icebreaker, she began searching for a “target,” aka a cutie.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

EMily then passed out the cards to guys she ran into everywhere from the grocery store, to sporting events, to Home Depot and even the climbing gym. So, did she get any “accepted offers?”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the most part, she says, the guys have been receptive, or at least flattered. “I definitely receive mixed responses, but most of the time they are so caught off guard that it’s a great icebreaker,” Emily continued. “In one particularly funny handout, as I was handing a guy the card, his Apple Watch buzzed with a text from ‘Cutie GF.’ Welp.”<\/p>
