The term “cougar” hit the mainstream about a decade ago, when we were collectively shocked that older women had the audacity to date younger men. APPALLING! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And now, just a quick 10 years and a pandemic, we’re bringin’ it back with a new dating show on Hulu, hosted by Taye Diggs and called “Back in the Groove”. The dating show “courts three single women to a resort to find love with men described as being “half their age””.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More on the upcoming dating show, that I’m sure is real and not at all scripted, via THR.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The description reads: \u201cThree single women in their 40s, all stuck in the grind of their everyday lives, will check OUT of their comfort zones and check INTO The Groove Hotel, a magical resort\u00a0on the beautiful island of the Dominican Republic \u2014 where the goal is to rediscover their youth, live joyously, and\u00a0hopefully\u00a0find love with men HALF. THEIR. AGE. As the saying goes: You can\u2019t fall in love with someone else until you fall in love with yourself! At the Groove Hotel, these three women will have the opportunity to do both! Whether they find the perfect fling, friendship, true love, or something in between, this is their chance to take charge and break through the double standards older women face every day.
