Or &#8220;premature intimacy&#8221; is another term for love-bombing, coined by dating expert Georgia Grace. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Via Stylist:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PMI stands for premature intimacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cIt refers to the act of engaging in\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.stylist.co.uk\/health\/mindfulness-intimacy-meditation-wellbeing\/696298\" target=\"_blank\">intimate<\/a>\u00a0behaviour too soon in a new relationship,\u201d says Alderson.\u00a0<\/p><p>While this is often oversharing personal information, it can also refer to physical intimacy.<\/p><p>As Alderson explains, it can include everything from \u201cprematurely holding hands or making a move\u201d to \u201csharing deeply personal information or talking about future plans before the connection has had time to develop\u201d.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, while we don&#8217;t see a big deal with getting some skin on skin early in the relationship, we do appreciate the idea that over-sharing and getting too emotional too quickly is mega unhealthy.
