Last Sunday the new season of House of the Dragon premiered (we haven’t watched yet, so no spoilers!) but the most intriguing bit of info we’ve heard is regarding a scene that didn’t make it – a particularly sexy scene featuring the gorgeous Olivia Cooke. Via BuzzFeed:<\/p>

As you\u2019re probably aware, neither\u00a0House of the Dragon<\/i>\u00a0nor\u00a0Game of Thrones<\/i>\u00a0shy away from sex scenes \u2014 and given the latter\u2019s reputation, Olivia admitted that when she first landed a role in\u00a0House of the Dragon<\/i>, she tried to mentally prepare herself for nudity.\u00a0<\/p>

Olivia has worked closely with the show\u2019s intimacy coordinator, Vanessa Coffey, over the years, and the star told Elle that she has been left pleasantly surprised with the scenes she has been dealt so far.\u00a0<\/p>

\u201cI thought there\u2019d be way more, and so I\u2019m relieved that when it has been used for me, it\u2019s showing Alicent being pleasured, which is amazing and doesn\u2019t feel gratuitous,\u201d Olivia explained. \u201cIt feels like we\u2019re telling a story.\u201d<\/p>

However, Olivia went on to reveal that one of her sex scenes did end up being considered gratuitous by showrunner Ryan Condal, which resulted in it being scrapped from the show entirely.<\/p>

While Olivia didn\u2019t detail who she filmed the scene with, she did say that it was \u201ccarnal\u201d and \u201canimalistic.\u201d<\/span><\/h2>

\u201cIt was messy as fuck. It wasn\u2019t beautiful, and that was really fun to do,\u201d she said. \u201cI think Ryan said we weren\u2019t learning any more about the characters, which I disagree with slightly, but it\u2019s okay. It\u2019s his show.\u201d<\/span><\/h2><\/blockquote>
