Celtics Vs. Lakers. I had two 36 packs (two!), tequila, hot dogs, homemade potato salad and chips and salsa and EVERYTHING that should have made that game the most fun house party ever.<\/p>\n<p>And then my cable went out.<\/p>\n<p>Really? \u00a0TV gods?<strong><em> REALLY<\/em><\/strong>? You&#8217;ve got to be kidding me.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, we begrudgingly zoomed over to a local bar and watched the rest.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s give Game 6 a nice, solid, BCU run down.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1) Celtics scored like&#8230; 13 points?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Not really, but 67? Jeez. I&#8217;ve seen football games with scores that low (not really). The Lakers wiped the proverbial floor with the Celts and for all of us Laker fans (or happen to be in a bar with Lakers fans) t&#8217;was awesome. However, boo, Celts. Missed layups and dunks? Is this the finals or my dad and his co-workers trying to escape middle age? \u00a0Embarrassing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2) PAU! PAU! POW! POW! <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>17 foot tall Pau bounced back from a pretty lame game 5, and from where I was sitting (on a bar stool at Black Angus, damn you, AT&amp;T!!!) , he was the best player on the court. And that&#8217;s saying something considering Kobe &#8220;DaVinci of Drawing Fouls*&#8221; Bryant was sharing it with him.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3) Kendrick Perkins<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to an unnamed source, he&#8217;s done-zo for the series.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4) Game 7!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Thursday Thursday Thursday! Winner takes all Game 7 \u00a0is going to be intense. In my ideal scenario, my TV works, I get all up in that NBA Finals drinking game, and the game gets down to the last milliseconds, in which Kobe makes a shot from halfcourt to win it.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ll see.<\/p>\n<p>Oh, also, I think the World Cup is still happening.<\/p>\n<p><strong>*I made that name up and plan to copyright it.
