I scoffed at them all week, hearing news that the conditions were terrible, the heat was intolerable, and the drama surrounding the games was palpable.<\/p>\n<p>And then we heard this news that made me think hey- maybe they know what they&#8217;re going over there. According to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/idUSTRE6963ZI20101007\" target=\"_blank\">reports<\/a>, the athlete&#8217;s village drainage system is under copious amounts of stress due to thousands of condoms being flushed down the toilets.<\/p>\n<p>HIGH FIVE, COMMONWEALTH GAMES ATHLETES! This is undeniably awesome &#8211; thousands of athletes, stressed out for their competitions, poppin&#8217; ones off in their little apartments to release a little tension?
