Hollywood, though, is not so pleased.<\/p>\n<p>Assuming you didn&#8217;t fall into some sort of time portal which threw you into pre-Civil War era Alabama this weekend, you probably heard about the Golden Globe speech heard &#8217;round the world by British funny man Ricky Gervais. His monologue-gone-wrong threw jabs at every A-list celebrity in the house, and some were particularly, how-shall-we-say&#8230; <em><strong>shocking<\/strong><\/em>. So bad, in fact, that a member of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association says that not only will Ricky never be allowed at the Globes again,\u00a0 any movie he stars in can &#8220;forget about getting nominated. He humiliated the organization last night and went too far with several celebrities whose representatives have already called to complain.&#8221; YEESH.<\/p>\n<p>While nearly every organization asked to comment on the debacle said that Gervais definitely crossed the line, the HFPA released a statement adding &#8220;overall, however, the show was among the best we&#8217;ve ever had and we were pleased.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Check out the video above for some of Ricky&#8217;s greatest jabs of the night. We say GOOD FOR YOU, RICKY, for making one of the most boring nights in television actually worth watching.
