Forrest and Rose?! <strong><em>Are you kidding me?!<\/em><\/strong> It&#8217;s official: not only are the the oldest, but they are the <em>cutest <\/em>couple in the history of mankind.<\/p>\n<p>2. I hope with everything in my soul that I am able to lift my diabetic foot up from my hospice bed at 100 years old, let alone <em>ballroom dance<\/em>. My god, <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">someone needs to get their diet and exercise regimen for the past 70 years and write it down because I want to BE them!<\/span> <strong>[EDIT] OH WAIT, FOUND IT:<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Forrest smoked a pack a day for 27 years, and still enjoys a glass of wine at dinner with Rose \u2014 although he prefers whiskey and 7-Up if any of his drinking buddies are around. \u201cMy favorite food is\u00a0fried food,\u201d he added. \u201cSomething you can get a chunk of. Cut a bite off a piece of meat, that\u2019s what I like.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>::speechless::<\/p>\n<p>3. <em><strong>Can they be the new mascots for OBC?! <\/strong><\/em>We&#8217;ve always touted the three-word motto <strong>&#8220;marriage can wait,&#8221;<\/strong> and they exemplified that phrase better than any other human couple ever have: not only did they not <em>MEET<\/em> until they were over 50, but then they dated for 30 years (THAT IS LONGER THAN MY LIFESPAN) before committing to marriage! GENIUS.
