And THIS, everyone, is why casual dating is so much better than being on the hunt for THE ONE all the time: it turns you into a uptight, passive-aggressive, batshit crazy human being.
According to
Gawker, Quin Woodward Pu is the 26-year-old behind LittleBlackBlog, a pretty (
but not overwhelmingly gorgeous, let's be honest) woman who apparently is NOT used to getting rejected.
In a recent post on her blog, she detailed the story of meeting a guy at a bar, going on a couple dates, and then, after he decided to call off a trip to Virginia (and their "relationship") with her via text, GOING OFF ON HIM in a two-page-long text message that single-handedly sets feminism back a half-century.
Here's what he said to her (note: polite, kind, and appropriate, being that they had been "dating" for two weeks):

Quin was PISSED. Beyond that, I'd say. Based on her description of her emotions: "stunned," "no words," "short of breath," "agitated," "flustered", you'd think a close friend had been hit by a drunk driver. So she decided to let this dude know how she felt:

We bet that Quin thought she really let this unnamed dude have it, but on the contrary, we're sure the dude considered that confirmation that he did the right thing. According to Gawker, she continued her misplaced, over-the-top rampage by forwarding their sexts to his EMPLOYERS, because this woman is a total nutcase.
Another case for using OBC - at least you know that people are looking for something fun and casual, and aren't going to ream you over text and attempt to ruin your career after two dates.
And based on the comments on
the original post, we think Quin's gonna reconsider her position on the matter too.
