Greatest Web April Fools Jokes

I'm gullible. Like, really, seriously, gullible. Like when a fellow BCU staffer told me that Google docs runs slow on my Chrome browser, I responded with a dramatic, "REALLY?" Until they laughed and said, "No, you idiot. Chrome is made by Google. " So comes April Fools day. I wake up every year, prepared for someone to play some evil joke on me (this could be stemmed from my dad pulling a "severed thumb" joke on me at age 5), and swear to myself that I will not fall for any April Fools jokes. And yet, I fell for these within the first twenty minutes of being at work. 1. Google is now Topeka Remember the news that Topeka, Kansas had renamed itself Google a couple weeks ago (in some obvious attempt to make people remember Topeka exists)? Well, this morning Google announced they'd decided to repay the city by trading with them, saying that as of April 1, they'd now be called Topeka Search. Needless to say, I totally bought it. 2. Google Docs can now store anything Google was on top of their April Foolin' this year, featuring a second one in their Google Docs section, saying you now have a "metric ton" of space, and that you can store literally anything. 3. The Apple iPad is a joke CNET has been an avid crap-talker on the Apple iPod since the moment it was revealed, so it makes sense that their April Fools joke would consist of telling the world not to worry, that the Apple iPad is a joke, and the real product will be revealed soon. Did I fall for it? Yep. 4. In-N-Out comes to NYC

Alright, so this one wasn't really on the net, but photos and news stories flooded the web after some cruel prankster put up a sign saying, "In-N-Out, coming soon, " on an abandoned building in Union Square. Take that, New York City! You might have everything else but you're not taking our only delicious fast food joint! 5. Bieber or Die Justing Bieber currently has the top selling record in the US. Also you should know he's only 16. Also you should know he looks like an 8 year old. Lastly you should know his round little head has the most perfectly set hair you've ever seen, to the point that it looks like he is wearing a hair-helmet. Or a hairmet. Needless to say, Funny or Die plastered him all over their home page, and it is hilarious.
