Look At This Instagram
I stopped using Facebook last year (#toocool #whatsup #teamPrivacy), but since then have become a devoted fan of Instagram, the social networking app that uses your smartphone to apply filters to your photos to make them look vintage-y cool. Generation Y seems to be very split on the merits of Instagram: some love it with an obsession usually saved for pumpkin spice lattes, and others think it is an abomination - insulting to real photographers everywhere and just another way for idiots to share their pointless pictures (of pumpkin spice lattes).
I admittedly fall into the former category - I just can't get enough of applying 70s looking filters to pictures of my dogs butt, what can I say? Still, even I gotta laugh at this CollegeHumor original video, parodying Nickleback's Photograph, which Generation Y generally agrees is the worst song ever.
