Being that this blog is generally centered around sex and celeb gossip and the occasional poop joke, you might not take us very seriously when it comes to real, hard-hitting news. However, in my year or so writing for BCU we have experiences a handful of undeniably terrifying natural disasters including the 2010 Haiti and Chilean earthquake. And now today we have another one to mourn - a massive 8.9 magnitude quake in Sendai, Honsu, Japan, which caused a tsunami that ripped through Japan's Pacific coast and is said to have killed at least 288 people.
Although BCU will go about its business bringing you pop-culture and your weekend to-do list, we at the OBC offices send good vibes, thoughts, and prayers to all who have been affected by this horrible catastrophe.
