The Only Good Parts of the Golden GLobes

Did you watch the Golden Globes last night? I didn't, that's for sure. Because award shows are stupid and worthless and honestly embarrassing because, don't stone me for this, I would imagine actors' awards for being good actors are their OBSCENELY LARGE PAYCHECKS. I don't think you ALSO need a gold trophy to put in your house like your kid's spray-painted baseball for "Best Participant in Little League, age 8-10 category." Luckily, last night Tina Fey and Amy Poehler hosted, which is ten billion times better than that monster Ricky Gervais from last year. And so (I've heard) it was a generally fun time with good jokes and nothing too miserable. Here are two of the moments that are getting the most "buzz" in the internetosphere: Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig repurposing Wiig's Garth and Kat skit for the Best Actress category: (fun bonus: look for Tommy Lee Jones "when can I go the f*** home" face at 3:26) And second is the big YIKES moment of the year thus far: Jodie Foster coming out of the closet in an incoherent, drunken ramble that made me hit mute almost immediately because I felt so awkward.
