We're big fans of all dating sites, especially our fellow casual dating sites. We support any and all who are down for the cause of booty calls, laid-back hook ups, and no-pressure dating. However, when we heard that Tinder is starting to charge older members more to join their new "premium" service, we thought that was a liiiiiiiittle shady. Via Gawker:
The dating app's new premium paid-for service is called Tinder Plus. It offers users the ability to find partners in foreign countries, unlimited right-swipes, or likes, and a rewind button to recover mistaken swipes.
Users under the age of 28 who want the extra functions will be charged £3.99 a month, and those over 28 will pay £14.99. The app will remain free, though non-paying users will no longer be able to make unlimited right-swipes.
We have a ton of members who are over 28 (just read our many testiMOANials), so the thought of racking up prices for non-youngins seems pretty effed up. SHAME ON YOU TINDER!
(jk we love you)
