From what I've heard, the US basically has no chance to win the World Cup. However, that didn't make it any less exciting when they beat Ghana yesterday 2 - 1 with a last minute goal by John Brooks Jr. This news report, from a local news station in Portland, Oregon, captured the spirit of fans who know that they're only about 5 minutes from being horrifically disappointed. Also the spirit of a newscaster celebrating a soccer win in a cycling shirt. Fantastic. GO USA!
