Justin Bieber is newly married to model Hailey Baldwin, but some fans are wondering if he still has a spot in his heart for ex-gf Selena Gomez, after his Instagram story appeared to show that he’d been Google searching his ex’s name.

If you blink you’ll miss it, but on the side bar his search history is shown, and included in the list is Selena’s performance of Taki Taki with Ozuna and Cardi B. Fans began to wonder, is the married star still pining for his first love? According to his multiple follow up stories, no.

“It came up after my wife and I were [watching] my Coachella performance hers played right after mine because it’s in the related thing,” he wrote. “I have [nothing] to hide. I [didn’t] know it was there [and] I didn’t think twice and still don’t [because I] have [nothing] to hide.”

Then, after apologizing for his spelling errors, JB pleaded with fans to stop “reading into things so much and making something out of nothing,” adding that “these are real lives you guys are talking about real emotions stop acting like you know anything about anything.”

He also seemingly addressed any fans still holding out hope for a #Jelena reconciliation, writing, “People have their own [fantasies] about how they think my life should go and make up all of these theories and use their imagination too much… this ends here will never re-engage with this but had to set the record straight once and for all. We are adults [we’re] not playing games. There always gonna be something.”
