Lots of things come to mind when we think of the classic holiday character, The Grinch: green, hairy, angry, crotchety, grumpy, mean, gross, smelly… but one word that doesn’t come to mind: sexy. Because EW.

Apparently that’s exactly the word that Glee star Matthew Morrison was imagining when he was asked to play the Grinch live on NBC on Wednesday night, because he played the Dr. Seuss villain reeeeeallll strange.

And people are NOT INTO IT.
